Girl Scouts provides a stable outlet for girls to belong, connect, and help themselves and their communities, and I've seen that first-hand. Despite everything that's happened this past year, local Girl Scouts are supporting each other, staying in touch, and healing their communities. They have been able to do that because Girl Scouts - North Carolina Coastal Pines provides the support they need:

Mental Health - Girl Scouts are deeply concerned about the stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues that they and their peers are experiencing—and they’re asking adults to take notice. Girl Scouts - NCCP is creating new programming to give girls the tools they need to understand and support positive mental health.
Community- When girls earn the new Building Beyond Today patch, they develop an appreciation of the uniqueness and commonalities of themselves and others, and the rich diversity of various cultures in their community and in the world. Girls deepen their understanding and respect for people who may be different from them and learn how to better relate to others.
Peacebuilding- Our most popular virtual event this year was World Thinking Day, This year’s theme was peacebuilding, and on February 22, over 10 million Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world did their part to call for and create peace in our lives and in the world. Girl Scouts across our council Stand Strong, Stand Up, and Stand Together for peacebuilding.
Resources for volunteers - From online training to tips on leading virtual troop meetings, Girl Scouts - NCCP has made sure volunteers have what they need to keep Girl Scouting going for their girls. They're also equipping volunteers to help girls maintain positive mental health.
Financial assistance- Girl Scouts - NCCP believes that money should never be a barrier to Girl Scouting. They provide financial assistance for any girl or adult member who needs it to participate in activities, camp, and more.
